Pete was brought up in the Rotherham area of South Yorkshire. He successfully completed the Associated Board graded exams in playing both violin and double bass (not usually at the same time) and worked in orchestras in the region. Pete studied at the Newark School of Violin Making and subsequently gained experience in dealing and repairs in South Yorkshire before moving to Beverley in East Yorkshire. He has over 20 years experience in the violin trade and teaches violin repair and making at evening classes.

Pete offers a wide range of set-up and repair services from premises in Chestnut Avenue, Beverley. On-street parking is readily available, and he will be pleased to undertake consultations by appointment during or outside the normal working day.
